OUR EXPERTISE / SALES-SIDE FUNDING

Turn receivables into
a clearer capital plan.

Sales-side funding explores eligible receivables and distribution activity. KJK supports domestic and export bill discounting, selected PSU receivables and dealer finance.

The funding conversation at a glance.

THE BUSINESS PURPOSE

Receivables, export collections and distribution-related cash cycles

PREPARE THE PICTURE

Buyer evidence, delivery, acceptance, ageing and payment terms

WHAT THE PROVIDER ASSESSES

Buyer risk, currency, existing charges and the settlement route

THE OPPORTUNITY

Look closely at the receivable, not only the invoice

Receivable quality depends on the sale, delivery, acceptance, payment terms and buyer. Establish the evidence and understand how disputes, delays or non-payment would be handled.

The aim is a well-prepared conversation: a clear purpose, realistic assumptions and an organised view of the information that matters.

WHEN THE CONVERSATION MATTERS

Different situations.
A relevant starting point.

Illustrative business requirements to help frame your enquiry.

01

Domestic receivables

Start with the buyer, evidence of delivery, acceptance and any disputes. An invoice alone does not establish eligibility.

02

Export collections

Consider buyer and country risk, currency, payment terms and the supporting transaction documentation.

03

Dealer and distribution cycles

Map when stock moves, when payment is expected and how responsibility is allocated if collections are delayed.

BEFORE YOU COMPARE OPTIONS

Look beyond
the headline amount.

A useful comparison starts with the whole arrangement. Ask for clear answers before deciding how to proceed.

Illustrative business context for sales-side funding.

01

Purpose & timing

Start with domestic bill discounting. Explain the stage, when capital is needed and what happens if the timetable changes.

02

Cost & commitments

Consider interest, funding-provider charges, KJK’s client-paid brokerage or commission, security, covenants and repayment conditions together.

03

Responsibility & next steps

KJK helps prepare and coordinate the discussion. The provider determines its terms and funding decision. Obtain appropriate independent professional advice.

PREPARE WITH CONFIDENCE

Make the first
conversation count.

You do not need to upload documents to begin. A clear business overview helps identify the information needed for the next stage.

01

Buyer profile and history

Explain the sale and the buyer rather than supplying an invoice total alone.

02

Invoice, acceptance and delivery status

Separate accepted balances, disputed amounts and overdue receivables.

03

Ageing and disputes

Identify the currency, collection process and country risk where relevant.

04

Existing assignments or financing

Explain existing assignments, security and the obligations if the buyer pays late.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO DISCUSSION

A structured way forward.

01

Understand

A focused conversation about the business, the purpose of capital and the decisions ahead.

02

Prepare

Organise the proposal, key information and assumptions that need to be examined.

03

Coordinate

Bring structure to lender discussions, documentation and follow-up.

04

Move forward

Review the proposed terms and next steps with informed expectations.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Clarity before
the next step.

Is every invoice eligible?

No. Buyer acceptability, documentation, tenor, dispute status and lender criteria matter.

Can export receivables be discussed?

Yes. Buyer, country, currency, documentation and payment terms affect the discussion.

Does discounting guarantee payment?

No. Recourse and credit-risk allocation depend on the contract.

Does KJK provide the funding itself?

KJK does not lend directly. We help prepare and coordinate a funding proposal with banks and other funding sources. Approval, pricing, documentation and disbursement remain with the relevant provider.

How are brokerage or commission terms explained?

Clients pay KJK brokerage or commission for facilitation. Ask for the fee basis, payment stage and conditions in writing before proceeding. A website enquiry does not establish credit eligibility.
