OUR EXPERTISE / WORKING CAPITAL

Keep business moving.
Plan capital with clarity.

Working capital funding supports the gap between operating payments and customer receipts. KJK helps businesses frame that requirement around their operating cycle and existing borrowing position.

The funding conversation at a glance.

THE BUSINESS PURPOSE

The timing gap between operating payments and customer receipts

PREPARE THE PICTURE

Inventory, receivables, payables, seasonal peaks and existing limits

WHAT THE PROVIDER ASSESSES

The operating cycle, cash generation, security and provider policy

THE OPPORTUNITY

Understand the cash cycle before choosing a facility

Growing orders can place pressure on cash even when a business is profitable. Inventory, payment terms, seasonal demand and delayed receivables change the amount and timing of funding needed. Mapping these movements is a useful first step.

The aim is a well-prepared conversation: a clear purpose, realistic assumptions and an organised view of the information that matters.

WHEN THE CONVERSATION MATTERS

Different situations.
A relevant starting point.

Illustrative business requirements to help frame your enquiry.

01

A growing order book

Look at procurement payments, production time and customer collections together. Higher sales can increase the cash needed before receipts arrive.

02

A seasonal procurement cycle

Map inventory build-up and peak operating payments against expected collections rather than borrowing to an average month.

03

A longer receivable cycle

Understand ageing, concentration and the reasons for delay before deciding whether a funding facility addresses the underlying need.

BEFORE YOU COMPARE OPTIONS

Look beyond
the headline amount.

A useful comparison starts with the whole arrangement. Ask for clear answers before deciding how to proceed.

Illustrative business context for working capital.

01

Purpose & timing

Start with seasonal inventory and procurement. Explain the stage, when capital is needed and what happens if the timetable changes.

02

Cost & commitments

Consider interest, funding-provider charges, KJK’s client-paid brokerage or commission, security, covenants and repayment conditions together.

03

Responsibility & next steps

KJK helps prepare and coordinate the discussion. The provider determines its terms and funding decision. Obtain appropriate independent professional advice.

PREPARE WITH CONFIDENCE

Make the first
conversation count.

You do not need to upload documents to begin. A clear business overview helps identify the information needed for the next stage.

01

Monthly sales and operating-cost trends

Show monthly trading patterns rather than relying only on annual turnover.

02

Inventory, receivable and payable ageing

Review ageing and concentration across stock, customer balances and suppliers.

03

Existing limits and utilisation

Distinguish sanctioned limits from actual utilisation and peak requirements.

04

Cash-flow forecast including seasonal peaks

Test seasonal peaks and delayed collections against realistic operating cash flow.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO DISCUSSION

A structured way forward.

01

Understand

02

Prepare

Organise the proposal, key information and assumptions that need to be examined.

03

Coordinate

Bring structure to lender discussions, documentation and follow-up.

04

YOUR QUESTIONS

Clarity before
the next step.

How does working capital differ from a term loan?

Working capital generally addresses the operating cycle; term loans usually fund a defined investment over a longer period. The structure depends on business needs and lender assessment.

Can I estimate my requirement?

Our working capital tool provides a simplified illustration using costs and cash-cycle days. It does not establish a borrowing limit.

What should I avoid sharing in the form?

Do not send bank statements, account numbers, passwords, PAN or confidential financial documents. Start with your business need.

Does KJK provide the funding itself?

KJK does not lend directly. We help prepare and coordinate a funding proposal with banks and other funding sources. Approval, pricing, documentation and disbursement remain with the relevant provider.

How are brokerage or commission terms explained?

Clients pay KJK brokerage or commission for facilitation. Ask for the fee basis, payment stage and conditions in writing before proceeding. A website enquiry does not establish credit eligibility.
