OUR EXPERTISE / PURCHASE-SIDE FUNDING
Support procurement.
Protect business momentum.
Purchase-side funding considers capital needed to procure goods or inputs before revenue is collected. KJK supports vendor, purchase-invoice and supply-chain finance discussions.
The funding conversation at a glance.
THE BUSINESS PURPOSE
Procurement and supplier payments ahead of business receipts
PREPARE THE PICTURE
Underlying orders, supplier terms, delivery and expected collections
WHAT THE PROVIDER ASSESSES
Transaction performance, documentary requirements and recourse
THE OPPORTUNITY
Connect procurement terms to the operating cycle
Supplier terms, order quality and collections influence how a procurement requirement should be structured. Understand the underlying trade and distinguish timing gaps from wider cash-flow problems.
The aim is a well-prepared conversation: a clear purpose, realistic assumptions and an organised view of the information that matters.
WHEN THE CONVERSATION MATTERS
Different situations.
A relevant starting point.
Illustrative business requirements to help frame your enquiry.
01
Procurement ahead of receipts
Explain the underlying order, supplier payment terms and the expected path from purchase to collection.
02
A supplier-finance requirement
Bring buyer and supplier relationships into the proposal and clarify each party’s documentary obligations.
03
A supply-chain structure
Review performance risk, recourse and accounting treatment before treating a structure as a solution.
BEFORE YOU COMPARE OPTIONS
Look beyond
the headline amount.
A useful comparison starts with the whole arrangement. Ask for clear answers before deciding how to proceed.

01
Purpose & timing
Start with vendor financing. Explain the stage, when capital is needed and what happens if the timetable changes.
02
Cost & commitments
Consider interest, funding-provider charges, KJK’s client-paid brokerage or commission, security, covenants and repayment conditions together.
03
Responsibility & next steps
KJK helps prepare and coordinate the discussion. The provider determines its terms and funding decision. Obtain appropriate independent professional advice.
PREPARE WITH CONFIDENCE
Make the first

YOUR QUESTIONS
Clarity before
the next step.
Does invoice finance remove risk?
No. Performance, customer, supplier and payment risks remain. Recourse and obligations must be understood.
Is a structure automatically off balance sheet?
No. Treatment depends on the arrangement and applicable standards. Obtain accounting advice.
Can supplier finance replace working capital?
It can address part of procurement, but the complete operating position still needs assessment.
Does KJK provide the funding itself?
KJK does not lend directly. We help prepare and coordinate a funding proposal with banks and other funding sources. Approval, pricing, documentation and disbursement remain with the relevant provider.
How are brokerage or commission terms explained?
Clients pay KJK brokerage or commission for facilitation. Ask for the fee basis, payment stage and conditions in writing before proceeding. A website enquiry does not establish credit eligibility.
